Eat like the Romans: the Visitor's Food Guide
This was my first restaurant guide, published in 1992 by my little company Alphabyte, under the stairs. I still love the design, by Giancarlo De Pol and Patrizia Tazza. The book contains about 100 listings, glossary, and a rather nice (if I do say so myself) introduction on types of eating places and food habits. I suppose I should be flattered that it has been plagiarized.
It's out of print and largely superseded by Trattorias of Rome, Florence, and Venice, but I have a very few copies left to sell. If you want one, send me an e-mail.
